You should be OK - that bit about the need for a notification plate if there is different regulation to everywhere else is key to the matter, so don't let them fob you off. Keep your teeth in the seat of their trousers and don't let go. It's probabl…

Belleberry, just before Clockhouse Station. Friendly, good choice, cheapish coffee. Can get busy at lunchtimes though

Paul Many thanks for that information - it was superb! All the information that you gave me just strengthened the points that I have made in letter to hopefully over turn the parking ticket. I will be pretty surprised if the do not over turn the…

Tim - we spoke earlier tonight outside your house while I was looking at your new yellow line and my Internet enquiries suggest there's every likelihood that your ticket is unvalid. I'll pop something through your door later tonight.

CPZ _ Continuous Parking Bays: We have a continuous parking bay in front of our driveway, that was marked out a couple of weeks ago. In the last week we have been blocked in 4 times by cars simply parking in front of our driveway, but within the c…

"Marking the road with double-yellow lines on the inner and outer bends of Queens Road, i.e. just beyond No.66 and No.61 respectively. These are proposed as part of the Controlled Parking Zone Scheme (Zone 2), which is still subject to the latest round of public consultation, analysis and ultimately decision-making by Cllr Colin Smith, as the Environment PortfolioHolder. There has been some opposition to the proposals for these yellow-lines on the grounds that they would mean even less available on-street parking-space"

Reg Adams
Councillor - Clock House Ward

"Proposals for double yellow-lines and pay-and-display sections of road. (As distinct from individual parking-meters). These proposals are part of the wide-ranging public consultation exercise on the Controlled Parking Zone for roads around ClockHouse Station. The outcome will be guided by analysis of all the residents' questionnaire-responses. I understand that there have been 46 responses from Queens Road residents, 51 from ClockHouse Road residents and 26 from Cedars Road residents. Mr Paul Nevard is the Traffic Engineer in charge of this project. As you will know from the circulars distributed, ClockHouse Councillors have convened a Public Meeting to present information and to discuss the CPZ issues: Balgowan School, 24 June, starting at 19:30"

This is what I understand is happeing and Councillor Adams confirmed this via emails to me on Queens Road, Road Safety Measures I am pushing for.

Like 20mph zones in all the roads around Balgowan School as it is set within a residential area and blocking-off Queens Road at the Chaffinch Brook I think this would create a safer environment and improve the quality of life for local residents by reducing the traffic and speed in these areas other councils have managed to do this why cant we? But the council policy seems to be wait for accidents before they put in safety measures. I will be organising a petition on this as I do not want to have any child in an accident to we can get things changed.

Hi Tim,

I am for but not for adding double yellow lines and parking meters that was not put forward to the residents regarding the parking issues when we where given the options. If yellow lines and parking meters where put forward to the residents I am shore we would have not agreed to this proposal. Who are these people working for?
