WANTED

Please can anyone lend me a pop-up goal about 3 ft high and 4 ft wide for a toddler fun day this coming Saturday, 12th July?  (So hopeless with computers, I posted it in the wrong place when I tried earlier!)  If anyone has got one I could borrow, I'd be really grateful.  Best to e-mail me direct so I know how to reply ... gmablitt@yahoo.co.uk.  Thanks!See More

"The only (informal) information we have is that the building was bought for commercial use - most likely to be offices.  However, with the present state of the market, it is thought that it is likely to be some time before the building is…"

Presumably this was sold to Naylor Friend as they are now advertising it for letting, at £40,000 p.a.  So I guess the nightclub idea died a death?

"Ok namecheck on the old Beckenham Police station will be the Aquarium, so not as new age as the Aquarious as I previously stated (must have been the late night reply). The current estaimate is opening end of March, start of April.…"

"How do you know it's being turned into a night club?  The for sale sign is still up ... Can't we get  locals to protest?  It doesn't need to be a night/drugs(?) club.  It's too close to housing - above the…"

"The old Beckenham police station is being turned into a night club and bar/lounge. A museum would be nice in Penge or Becks. Local area with lots of history needs such things, even the Studio by the Spa would have been a good venue fir that, but…"

"It's bound to become a 'retail outlet' of some sort, more than likely eating or drinking or both.  It's unlikely to be taken up by the big pizza chains since they seem to prefer ultra modern custom-built buildings (cheaper…"
