Plews Garden Design and Consultancy offers expert fruit tree pruning and health check; between now and March is the best time to prune apples and pears - and if you're a member of Beckenham Town Residents you can have a discount!

I have started a Market on a Wednesday afternoon from 3.30-8.30 visit www.maisonentersurprises.co.uk for more details. As a community based project the stalls are very affordable, if anyone is interested in promoting local micro business contact me via my website or visit me at Beckenham Public Hall on a Wednesday afternoon/evening.

I've been a mortgage and commercial loan broker for more than 20 years so quite happy to give free advice, as long as you mention Beckenham quite early on in your e-mail or phone call. I'm the only Murdison in the south-east of England and didn't 'murder my son' (it's spelt with an i) so I should be easy to remember. If you need any reassurance, do a google search of 'Murdison' and 'mortgage' and you'll get pages of hits of me over the years being quoted as an expert. I'm a loan arranger not a cowboy!

If anyone would like to join me at BRX (Business Referral Exchange) which meets every Wednesday for breakfast then please let me know. In the current climate networking is a great way of generating new business contacts and indeed new business referrals.

Comment on Beckenham town residents groups comments page

The current economic climate quite rightly makes us all careful with our money.
With that in mind, you may like to consider some of the services which we offer as being very cost effective and we have the added advantage of being local which will help keep both our costs down!
The web site gets updated regularly, with articles and photos, so do have a browse – www.plewsgardendesign.co.uk
