Johnny Depp Filming in Beckenham Place Park Dark Shadows

Local newspaper reporting that only extras will be being filmed in Beckenham Place Park now on Tuesday night. That's what their reporter was told, but other people have heard Johnny Depp to be filmed. Mixed messages and the rumour mill is flying across all social media channels.

 

Film crew all set up so are they putting off the public from peering in and go for tonight before tomorrow in case of bad weather, will Mr Depp grace SE London in the dead of night? I'm guessing the park will be over run by dog walkers again to catch a glimpse of whatever proceedings take place and report back here and on Twitter.

Pfft. We went up there yesterday evening and I went wit hthe dog this morning. Many trailers, lots of dudes standing around. But no Depp. Ugh. :-(

Reports of jumpy and on edge security, followed by them being rude to locals, then under cover of darkness film lorries rolling into Beckenham Place Park - so is the filming about to begin a night early...? Anyone near the park send in a pic.

About an hour ago lots of lorries started arriving but spoke to someone from crew - who was perfectly pleasant but assured us that nothing was happening until tomorrow.... decoy or truth -who knows!! Did see lots of bats about though - does that count?

Wild, yes.. actually they were furious they hadn't got a part. No actually there were a lot of bats around the main building funnily enough added to the spooky feel of the place.

News from my niece - grumpy security guard said JDepp isn't in the scene they are filming here and the scenes are being filmed in the house and are hidden by their vans so you can't see anything - on their way back now.

Went for a cycle ride this morning. Too early for the 'stars' but got told I shouldn't be there but no serious ushering me away.

Oh and they are shooting the outside (lhs) which is why they have removed the railings and table and painted the drain pipes. They are shooting a scene in the top room on the lhs where apparently they have built a padded room. Also someone is supposedly going to jump from the upstairs window!!!

I popped up to the park last night about midnight and i got pretty close to the set and Johnny Depp WAS there, he came out and waved as he walked towards the set, he was there for about 3 hours and is rumored to be there again tonight but not till the small hours.  Aparently he is playing 2 parts and would hardly recognise him as one of the caractures.  There is a very good atmospher around the park and the set looks amazing, I cant wait to see the film once it is finished x
