Anyone want to sponsor a Pot Hole?
Loved this news story yesterday about a German town council that is selling pot holes to its residents, whereby for around £50 you can sponsor a hole and its filling in, all topped off with your name added over the top, so passers by knew who was kind enough to pay for it.

How about it Bromley Council? What a revenue saving idea and a bit of fun in the meantime.
There are plenty all over the borough after the snow and ice this winter. At least they would be more visible than an acre of the Moon and filled in a lot more desirable and helpful.

But does that commit you to 50 quid every few months? Don't forget, while road repairs once used to last forever, now the quick plop of asphalt and a pat down with a spade only lasts a month or two before the repair starts crumbling and disappearing and it has to be done again (and again, and again...)
