Do you find it difficult to get a skirt that fits properly or in the colour or style you want?  Solve the problem once and for all by learning how to make your bespoke pattern.

Learn the processes and principles of Pattern Cutting to get a perfect fit every time. Make a straight skirt pattern and use this again and again at home ringing the changes with different fabrics and different lengths.

Learn to

• Take your body measurements
• Draft a skirt block
• Insert zips
• Cut out the calico and make up the toile (prototype) so that you can check the fit of the skirt before you then go and make the real thing.

Use your pattern to make your skirt at home or complete your skirt on our Dressmaking – Make a Skirt course.

Some experience of sewing required. If you do not have this please complete our Introduction to Sewing course first.
