Biggest & best independent local community forum, directory, marketplace, events
On Saturday 20th July we’ll be part of the celebrations to relaunch Beckenham Place Park following the wonderful additions and improvements to this beautiful open space over the past two years. The market opens later than normal this time, but you’ll still find the the best vintage traders as usual.
There’ll be a hand picked selection of 25+ top-quality vintage traders, inside and outside. Expect to find mid-century decor, lighting, homeware and furnishings, vintage travel posters, prints, antique maps & etchings, brocante, clothing, accessories, jewellery, & lots more.
The resident artists will be opening their studios where you can see their work, some of which will be available to buy.
Not to be missed is the fascinating Visitor Centre, run by the Friends of Beckenham Place Park. Crammed with artefacts, maps & documents, you can find all about the rich history of the Park.
There’s lots more happening on this special day. Here’s a taste of what will be going on:
Opening of the wild swimming lake
New cafe in the restored Homesteads buildings
Classic car display in front of the Mansion
Family & children’ activities
Food stalls and bars
Live music & Georgian dancing
& more activities to be added!
Make sure you don’t miss this day of celebration to mark the official re-opening of this wonderful open space!
